Dr. Ulisses Nunes da Rocha is a microbial ecologist and leader in bioinformatics and computational biology. He heads the Microbial Systems Data Science group at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research–UFZ in Leipzig, Germany, and holds a Guest Professorship in Theoretical Microbial Ecology at the University of São Paulo, Brazil.
