General Objective

To build an early warning and response system to mitigate the impact of infectious diseases and pandemics on People with Disabilities (PwDs) health.

Specific Objectives

1. Determine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the health (e.g., mental health, access to physicians) of PwDs in Ghana.

2. Collect nationally representative qualitative and quantitative data on PwDs experiences during the pandemic (e.g., socio economics, factors impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic)
3. Build machine learning models to predict future pandemics
4. Use these models as an early warning and response system about the impact of infectious diseases and pandemics
5. Suggest policies to mitigate the predicted impact, save lives and reduce inequities
